Harry Potter Fan Fiction Lists

This page contains fics in which Harry has to take care of a child while he's still in school. The fics listed are mostly chaptered fics, since the subject would be pretty hard to develop in a one shot, so be warned that you might be in for a long read. Also, beware of spoilers if you've still not read HBP, OoTP or whatever (if that's the case, I suggest you go read those fantastic books before bothering with fanfiction).

Please note that I haven't read all of the fics listed below. Some I found while browsing through the various fanfiction networks such as Fanfiction.net or Fictionalley, and some I have been recommended by other people. There are only a few that I've actually read, and those are marked by a *. It would be very nice of you to send me some feedback on the other fics so I can eventually update this list and remove fics that are really bad (such as those where there's a spelling mistake every three words or so) and include only those that are well written and generally appreciated. But for the moment, please understand that I don't have the time to go through every single story I list here.

However, if you come across a fic that does not fulfill the requirements of this list (Harry taking care of a child), please be so kind as to inform me so I can remove it. But I have checked each of them before listing them here, so a mistake would be quite surprising.

Finally, my goal is to make the most exhaustive thematic list on the subject, so if you have read a fic that is not listed here, I would be more than happy to hear about it. To send me a recommendation, you just have to go to the recommendation form and fill in the requested information.

	Harry must be in charge of a child (the age does not really matter as long as the kid is young).
	The theme should be central to the plot, or at least be well developed.
	Harry must still be in school (no Post-Hogwarts fics here!).
	AU is accepted.
	Harry does not necessarily have to be the father.
	I accept Harry taking care of de-aged characters.
	Chaptered fics are preferred, but one shots are accepted if they're really well written.
	The ship, genre, rating, length do not matter, as long as the fic respects the other requirements.
